18 Days to go - Time for America to elect ADULT LEADERSHIP
18 Days to go on one what has been one of the longest Presidential Campaigns known to our country.
Based on the way things are now with the 24 hours a day news cycles and such, the campaign has been ongoing since back in 2010 when the Congressional Mid Term elections concluded. The way things are going, as soon as the results are in for the election on November 6th, we will start to hear news idjits commenting on the 2016 Presidential race.
I have already voted and it was one of the important tasks I need to complete while stateside. I was glad to be able to cast my vote back home as I am seriously concerned on whether a vote cast here in AFGHN would find its way back to the homefront in a timely fashion. I remember that there were many issues with votes cast by servicemen and women overseas back in the 2008 election.
In the meantime, we will have to endure another 18 days of the BS spewed at us by the media and look to what the people say when they cast there ballots.
I pray and hope that we get a new President out of the process as I cannot see the present occupant of the office being there for another 4 years. the last 4 years under his stewardship have been marked with utter failure to handle the responsibilities which he has been given charge of and his utter inability to perform the job in a manner that provides the US with Leadership.
I have said it before and I will say it again - Obama is not the most qualified person for the job and he has shown that electing someone based on " Hope and Change " is NOT how we need to elect Leaders in our country.
His election to the highest office in the land has been a major setback for our country and an demonstrated failure by those who placed him there.
It is time for our country to get back to having ADULT Leadership in our highest office, something that has been absent for the past 4 years.

President Trainwreck

Mr. "Hopey- Changey" is really President Trainwreck. His administration is the proverbial "Three Stooges" of politics when you add in Geitner, Napolitano, Biden, etc.
Yeah, Romney is not the guy who thrills people but right now we need Competent & Steady Leadership, not this Chicago Village Idiot who has been in over his head for the entire time he has been in office. He was elected by those who had no clue as to what he would do and his term in office has been nothing but more misery for Americans.
" This 2012 Obama is strident and mean, even deceitful, divisive, telling half-truths after half-truths. He's using Air Force One as his personal Brinks truck with wings to collect cash all over the country, disguising the trips as official."
Yup. No doubt about it - Obama has got to go. November can't come soon enough.
Who is this guy pretending to be president?
By ANDREW MALCOLM - Investors Business Daily
Has anyone seen Barack Obama recently?
You know, the optimistic hopeful fellow with the charming smile who promised so many positive things four and five years ago, how he was going to change the harsh, partisan tone of our nation's capital and bring the country together as its first African American president.
Even allowing for political hyperbole, his empty resume and the invisible witnesses from the past, Obama was such a Real Good Talker that even some who didn't vote for him still had hope that he could change some things for the better in what seemed a sadly-splintered society.
WTH did that Obama go? Have you listened recently to this Chicago Doppelganger who's replaced him? This 2012 Obama is strident and mean, even deceitful, divisive, telling half-truths after half-truths. He's using Air Force One as his personal Brinks truck with wings to collect cash all over the country, disguising the trips as official.
He tries to intimidate the Supreme Court, an equal branch of government, when its thinking might stray from his. He distorts history, and if no one calls him, then it's true. If he's caught, this Obama says you obviously mis-heard. Because, as everyone knows, he could never mis-speak.
The economy, like everything else adverse, is someone else's fault. But if only we borrowed and spent a trillion dollars, unemployment would stay beneath 8%, Obama promised. It soared far above. It's still above. No apology. No acknowledgment. Now, he hails any dip as proof of progress when, in fact, it comes because so many just give up seeking work.
He chastises House Republicans for their draconian budget when his Senate Democrats haven't written a single one in three years; so, the fiscal drift abides. And wait till he exaggerates the frightening things the GOP wants to do, instead of presenting his own ideas.
Obama claims credit for the bottom half of a pipeline he had nothing to do with, when he killed the top half. He brags that domestic oil drilling is up when the part he's responsible for is down.
He says no one should ever go to Las Vegas on the taxpayer's dime. Then his wife, daughters and entourage do just that.
This year's Obama talks of the importance of windmills, algae and green energy, but he takes a 17-SUV motorcade to a photo op with an electric car. He lambasts oil companies for getting the same legal tax incentives (he calls them "subsidies") that other companies receive, hoping to aim anger at them so voters won't notice that gas prices have doubled since his inauguration.
Take this Tuesday. The 2012 Obama flew to Florida for an official presidential speech on the economy, then three fundraisers. That way his campaign only pays a fraction of Air Force One's $182,000 per flight hour cost. All presidents do that, though none have done near as many.
But read the four speeches. You can't tell which is official and which is political. They're all political. He can't be a real president for one lousy speech? Why the phony presidential fig leaf? To chintz the United States of America out of a few thousand bucks when he plans to raise a billion?
The Buffet Rule? Americans have always admired the successful. The only thing wrong with rich people is we're not one of them -- yet. But now he's pitting most of us against rich folks, which is him, come to think of it. The only way he's bringing us together now is to resent their paying a smaller legal rate because theirs is a different kind of income.
And speaking of taxes, whch are due Monday, how can the president of the United States allow 36 of his own White House aides to fall $833,000 behind in their tax payments?
How is that what the first Obama offered, making him an example of American success? (Hint: His GOP opponent is far richer than Obama and earned it the old-fashioned way through work, not fronting books.)
OK, Obama wants political skirmishes all over on any petty thing so people won't notice the absence of any conceivably positive record to run on. Risky when Americans start paying attention. But if that's his only card. It's all the Republicans' fault, of course. That's the candidate in him, the one that prefers performing for adoring crowds instead of performing Oval Office duties.
But whatever happened to the president part? The leader. The principled man who through his personal story, skills and charm was going to inspire, convince, cajole Americans as diverse as himself to work together for a common national success? That official part has merged with the political, like the four Florida speeches. Now, he's just trying to fool everybody about everything.
In a way, this could be good news for Republicans. The duplicate Ernst Blofeld makes Mitt Romney look like Mr. Rogers.
But without real presidential leadership, Obama's hand-picked harpie atop the Democratic National Committee feels empowered to assign a hired gun to dismiss his opponent's wife, the cancer-surviving mother of five sons, as someone who's never worked a day in her life. Are they that scared already?
Seriously? We're going to pit now one kind of working woman against another? The guy who talks about having so many women in his life isn't going to fire the women responsible for that? He thinks American women will buy this stuff?
OK, Obama was raised by grandparents because he didn't always have a stay-at-home mom or dad. But this is a nation, not a dysfunctional family or a windy city party where factions are left to their own wards and Solyndras.
Obama is the guy who said his own wife was off limits politically, the guy whose mother-in-law has resided since Day One in the White House at taxpayer expense as a live-in nanny so the first lady can campaign for money and healthy foods? But a woman who stays at home with her kids at no public expense can be trashed because of her party?

Lifeguards
I feel that Mr. Romney's approach is more in line with what is best for the United States - Let Obama go work to assist Europeafter he gets thrown out of office as he seems to prefer their economic model....We have seen how well that worked out for them...The Euro is a joke. It was doomed from the beginning and now holds the European Union countries helpless to help themselves.

'Bout sums it up....
The voters will now have to settle for 2nd best on the GOP side as there is no way that anyone could want a 2nd term for the Fool who presently occupies the White House. The issue is that SLICK MITT is NOT the best person for the job either - He is what we will be stuck with as the election in 2012 will come down to choosing the "lesser of two crappy choices" not electing the best person for the job.
And that is NOT how we should choose a President.

And that is NOT how we should choose a President.

A PAIR OF FECKLESS IDIOTS - SLICK MITT ROMNEY & NO-DRAMA OBAMA
What we REALLY don't need is another one....The GOP has to stop trying to prop up SLICK MITT Romney as he comes off just as foolish and clueless as Obama. Neither of them should be in the Oval Office and neither of them have the right LEADERSHIP to be COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF as both of them have ZERO experience in the military.
Stop the madness and let's get a genuine LEADER in the Oval Office.....enough with propping up these " empty suits ' just because they can raise a $100 Million dollars from other clueless fools who give them the money to buy access. The United States needs LEADERSHIP, not the feckless hucksters like Romney and/or Obama. Really.
Mitt Romney’s on red-faced run
By Dave Wedge and Katy Jordan - Boston Herald
Friday, July 15, 2011
He’s admired for his perfect hair and polished style. It’s when Mitt Romney tries to be a regular guy that he runs into trouble.
The former Bay State governor and multimillionaire has made a string of quirky campaign missteps that have pundits questioning his ability to relate to the common voter. Some have even dubbed him an “awkward” candidate struggling with an identity crisis as his latest bid for the Oval Office kicks into high gear.
From pretending a waitress pinched his behind in New Hampshire, to cracking jokes about being “unemployed,” to pulling out a $100 bill in a Colorado restaurant, Romney has raised eyebrows with a series of stumbles as he stumps in the harsh glare of the national spotlight.
“I think more is expected of Romney because he’s done this once before,” said Carrie Giddins, a politics professor at George Washington University. “Romney’s struggle has been to be relatable. He’s trying to be the guy you can go have a beer with, but he’s struggled and been unable to get over those awkward moments.”
The media hasn’t been kind. The Wall Street Journal recently referred to his “aw shucks, cornball humor,” and the Washington Post wrote of his “weirdness,” describing his demeanor as “equal parts ‘Leave It to Beaver’ corniness and social awkwardness.”
In New Hampshire yesterday, Romney declined to acknowledge any recent missteps, smiling and shutting his car door, saying “Thanks guys!” when a reporter asked about his campaign trail foibles.
Some pundits said the criticism has increased because Romney leads most polls for the GOP presidential nomination.
“What’s really happening is the scrutiny is getting more intense on Mitt because he’s clearly the front-runner,” said Republican consultant Rick Wilson. “He’s the guy that seems to perform best against Obama.”
“His every move is being watched,” Giddins added.
Indeed, Romney has come under fire on a nearly daily basis from national Democrats as well as in New Hampshire, where the former governor has long had a summer home.
“He’s trying to pitch himself as something he’s clearly not,” said Holly Shulman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. “Mitt Romney’s awkwardness on the campaign trail is perhaps not just because he fails to connect with voters and what they are going through in their daily lives, but because he knows deep down that what he is selling about his record on jobs and the economy just isn’t true.”
In Portsmouth, N.H., yesterday, Romney riffed off President Obama’s deficit-cutting admonishment last week that Americans must “eat our peas.”
“I ate a full plate of peas. I ate my peas,” Romney told supporters.
Romney’s quirky moments highlight the trouble that rich, well-heeled politicians sometimes have connecting with regular voters. Fellow Bay State multimillionaire U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry was painted as out of touch for dodging taxes on his luxury yacht last year, and drew mockery in 2004 for asking an Iowa clerk, “Can I get me a hunting license here?” He also offended military families with his 2006 “botched joke,” when he told college students to stay in school or they’d “get stuck in Iraq.”
But Wilson called Romney’s recent gaffes “minor” and said there has yet to be a defining moment for the presidential hopeful. “These aren’t egregious sins. I think most of this is just silly season stuff,” he said

SLICK MITT ROMNEY gets some help with Economics 101 from the Manchester Union Leader

One would think that a guy who claims to be an "economic expert" could figure this kinda thing out on his own......Ouch !
Stimu-less: What Romney should've said
EDITORIAL - Manchester Union Leader
Published Jul 6, 2011
Mitt Romney is being criticized for saying that President Obama’s policies have made the economy worse. They have, but Romney uses the wrong words.
Romney first said Obama made the recession worse. Officially the recession ended in the third quarter of 2009. Lately, Romney said that Obama’s policies have made U.S. economic growth “anemic.” Since the recovery began, GDP growth has averaged 2.8 percent a quarter. Growth could and should be better, and what there is cannot all be attributed to Obama’s policies, but it’s hard to call it “anemic.”
What Romney should say is this: Yes, we have had GDP growth since the third quarter of 2009, and some of that is because of federal stimulus spending. But if the economy is doing so great, why has unemployment risen from 7.6 percent in January of 2009 to 9.1 percent? It’s because the stimulus created a growth mirage, and business owners can see it, so they aren’t hiring.
As Fortune magazine editor Shawn Tully wrote of Obama’s stimulus plan last September, “By basic economic math, it’s impossible to raise GDP by borrowing from one group of people who would otherwise save that money, and transferring it to another group of people, and to the government, to spend. Savings, in the short term, have precisely the same impact on national income as spending.
“The reason couldn’t be simpler: All savings are spent. Let’s look at the big picture. GDP measures all spending on all the goods and services that America produces. Savings translate, dollar for dollar, into a major component of that total spending: investment. All the money that the administration successfully moves from savings to consumption simply channels one type of spending to another, in precisely offsetting amounts. It’s like filling a swimming pool from one end, and draining it from the other end. The level doesn’t change.”
The administration released its latest stimulus report on Friday before the July 4 weekend. Why? Because it showed that Washington spent somewhere between $185,000 and $250,000 per stimulus job created. And as that stimulus spending has slowed, so has the economy. Now we are deeper in debt, with higher unemployment, and an economy that is contracting. Obama bought temporary growth at an extremely high price, spiked the unemployment rate, put us deeper into debt, and ignored alternatives that could have provided more stable long-term growth without the massive debt and with more jobs. So yes, he made the overall economic situation worse than it would have been were an economically literate President in charge.

Why Romney, who prides himself on his economic acumen, cannot find a way to say that is a mystery.

POV from the International Business Times - " Mitt “Flip-Flop” Romney is Creepy"

Now, we get to see that the International Business Times has published their POV on SLICK MITT Romney, the serial flip-flopper. Romney comes off as "say anything to get elected" to voters and will only further damage the image of American Leadership overseas. His dodginess about why he didn't serve in the military while all others his age went to Vietnam smacks of being a Chicken Hawk....We need a LEADER, not a desperate, say-anything-to-get-elected POL.
If reading this doesn't cause you to have an involuntary shiver of revulsion, I would be surprised.....The word the author uses is " creepy "...looks like he nailed it.

Mitt “Flip-Flop” Romney is Creepy
By Joe Romaine - International Business Times.
Mitt Romney is the king of flip-flops. He does it so much that it’s almost pathological.
He not only flip-flops on political positions, but he also manages to do it on a personal level.
For Romney, the usual excuses of “times change,” “gotcha” moments, and “you’re taking it out of context” just don’t cut it.
Some people think Romney flip-flops all the time to curry political favor. They think that behind his George Clooney smile, perfect family, and impressive business record hides his raw and naked political ambition.
Indeed, Romney is the “résumé president” (except for his Mormon faith). He’s got everything you want in a candidate but something just seems off and voters sense it. He goes through the motions, does everything right, but can’t seem to connect with people.
And why is he running anyway? The love of his country? To right social wrongs he saw in his childhood? A sense of destiny from God? Or just raw political ambition, as many suspect.
Of course, we’ll know for sure if Romney is really just a ball of naked ambition masked with a perfect façade. If he is, he’ll never admit it.
Still, Romney’s robotic awkwardness and serial flip-flopping is just creepy, regardless of why he is that way.
Below are 10 classic Romney flip-flops. The list was chosen from mittromneyflipflops.com

SLICK MITT ROMNEY UPDATE - ROMNEY wants to spend up to $3 MIL of Utah's Tax $$$ to rig the primary system in his favor
Looks like the editorial board of the Salt Lake Tribune sees right through the "shallow as piss on a flat rock" move by ROMNEY to gin up the primary system by trying to move the UTAH Primary at an estimated cost of $2.5 million to $3 million to Utah Taxpayers.
Well, after all, that is the little people's money and why should we care about wasting that??? There's plenty of where that came from after all. We'll just make them pay more...
Is this REALLY what you want to see? Another stuffed shirt with delusions of grandeur, preaching cost cutting to you out of one side of his mouth, while WASTING tax dollars to try & rig the primary system in his own favor.
We have been living under a " DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO " President for the past 2 1/2 years, the last thing we need is another.
To the citizens of UTAH, Tell SLICK MITT to take a flying leap into the Salt Lake as otherwise, he'll be hosing you down for a few million tax dollars that I would suspect are sorely needed elsewhere.
Don’t move primary
Editorial / Salt Lake Tribune
If individual Utah residents want to write a check to support the presidential campaign of Republican Mitt Romney, there is nothing to stop them.
But if Romney backers want the whole body of Utah taxpayers to cough up as much as $3 million to hold an early 2012 primary election, one that would serve no purpose other than to make Romney look good for about a third of the next 24-hour news cycle, that’s asking way too much.
Romney is said to be leaning on his many supporters in Utah political circles — prime among them Lt. Gov. Greg Bell, whose portfolio includes supervising the state’s elections — to move up the state’s presidential primary from late June to sometime in early spring.
The acceptable reason for such a move, which would require an act of the Legislature, would be to make Utah more of a player in the nominating process by drawing the attention of all of the candidates at a point when it still matters.
But the real reason for such a shift would be so Romney could maximize his standing as the favorite candidate of Utah Republican voters and embarrass one of his chief rivals, former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman. Polls show that Romney now outpolls Huntsman among Utah Republicans by a margin of more than 2-1.
Bearding the lion in his own den, which is how Romney would spin a Utah primary victory over Huntsman, would clearly be of more value to Romney if it happened in early March, when the nomination will likely still be up for grabs, rather than June 26, when one, or both, of the candidates with Utah links may already have been eliminated.
Now the state’s presidential primary is set for the same day as the primaries for those seeking state office. It’s a lot cheaper that way. Estimates for having a separate election just for the presidential hopefuls run from $2.5 million to $3 million.
That is money that would be hard to find, and harder to justify, in such tight fiscal times.
It is also doubtful that it would really boost Utah’s profile that much. Other GOP hopefuls would be unlikely to spend much time or money here, knowing that they’d be all but lost in the Mitt vs. Jon tug o’ war.
It’s too late now. But anyone who really wanted to make Utah a destination for presidential candidates would have long ago gotten behind a plan from four years ago to unite with New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Colorado for a real Western States Primary. That would truly offer candidates a trove of delegates worth pursuing.
Of course, that was Jon Huntsman’s idea.
The Salt Lake Tribune.
QUOTES & NOTES from the 2012 campaign trail....Heaven Help us....

I wanted to share the enclosed as I thought it would be nice to see what people are saying out there on the campaign trail....and I'll interject some commentary after each quote - The opinions expressed here are mine and based solely on trying to interject some "common sense" into what these idjits are saying...
" I know you have been seeing a lot of politicians around lately. Something tells me that you may see a few more before February is over. But Iowa, you and I, we go a long way back," Obama told workers at an Alcoa factory here.
Obama reminded the state that it helped make him President. "So we've got some history together, and together we're going to make some more history for years to come," he said.
YEAH, THANKS FOR NOTHING IOWA...." - Hopefully, Iowa will be on the list of places where the President will see that after 2 1/2 years, people are pretty tired of listening to his lies.
"We cannot afford four more years of millions of Americans who are out of work and are not making enough in wages to support a family ... We cannot afford four more years of Barack Obama," Michele Bachmann, a conservative member of the House of Representatives said in Iowa on Monday. - Yes, thank you Rep. Bachmann....please make sure you check on the facts around any future statements you make as you need another gaffed-up speech like we need 4 more years of President Doofus. We need less gaffes, not more.
"Oh, Iowa matters, every state in the union, of course, always matters," she said in an interview with Iowa Tea Party Chairman Ryan Rhodes. "Iowa matters because people are really tuned in here to what is necessary (and) … what is needed to do to grow a smaller, smarter government." Sarah Palin - That was "Palinese" for still playing hard to get.....get back to us when you have some idea what you are talking about as we have no real idea what you are speaking about either.
Gov. Chris Christie told CNN recently that he's "100% sure" that he doesn't want to run for president next year and even said "forget it" Sunday on NBC to the idea of being the vice presidential pick for the GOP nominee.- We understand why Gov. Christie wants to focus on NJ first and will look at national office later...we'll wait. He looks like he is worth waiting for.
"These things happen over and over. They fascinate the media. They have no long term historic meaning. Either there will be a message that resonates with 14 million unemployed. There will be a message that resonates when one out of every four houses is worth less than its mortgage. There will be a message that resonates when there are three wars and no strategic coherence in the administration, or there won't be. If there is, I'll be a contender in January." Newt Ginrich - Newt, Newt, Newt....you and the Mrs. must have really been hitting the Ouzo out there in the Greek Isles as you still sound/act like you are so drunk you actually believe that you have a snowballs chance in HELL of getting elected anything, let alone President.
And finally, we have the "SLICK MITT ROMNEY UPDATE"....seems like "buying" the GOP nomination ain't enough for Slick Mitt, he wants to GIN UP the primaries in his favor, even if that costs the people extra money as, " Why not, isn't that what taxes are for ??"

What a piece of work.....Please MITT, just go away and take your desperate, pandering attitude with you.
Moving the UTAH primary to the second Tuesday in March from June could help Mr. Romney—who has strong ties to the state—by giving him a victory early in the Republican nominating process. But changing the date would mean holding the presidential primary separately from previously scheduled primaries for other offices, and the shift would require approval by the Legislature and the governor.
Lt. Gov. Greg Bell, who runs state elections, said an aide to Mr. Romney called him in April to pitch the idea of moving the primary, which Mr. Bell said he supported anyway. The aide told Mr. Bell an earlier primary would benefit everyone, including the people of Utah and Mr. Romney, a spokesman for Mr. Bell said. .....UTAH lawmakers will decide if the expense is warranted.
Yeah, it's only the people's money.....what does it matter if it is wasted so SLICK MITT can game the system. What a feckless, self centered POL.

The " MITT-O-MATIC"....
I think we need to fire the EMPTY SUIT presently in the White House and make sure we don't replace him with SLICK MITT, also a Empty Suit, just the pandering, flip-flopping, say anything to get elected type .......
Last thing we need is another President that has a shrew of a wife who will decide what we should say, do or eat....We have one of those now and the only thing that could be as bad as listening to Obama's Wife try to tell us how many bake sales we can have at a school (true - look it up if you don't believe me) is having Mrs. Slick Mitt lecturing us about what we can or can't do with our lives or families....If you have observed MITT & MRS. MITT operate, it's kinda creepy...almost like a reverse "Stepford Wives" effect....

SLICK MITT ROMNEY NEEDS TO " MAN UP"

And he thinks he's going to be President????
Dude....turn in your " Man Cred"...you just forfieted any hope that you will be taken seriously among real men.
So how is a US MARINE or a NAVY SEAL going to take that this guy who wants to be President likes to read the TWILIGHT SERIES ??
Mitt Romney Is a Teenage Girl - NY Magazine
Many people wonder whether Americans will be comfortable voting for Mitt Romney despite his Mormon faith. Perhaps a more pertinent question is whether they will be comfortable voting for him knowing that he is actually a teenage girl.
"I like the Twilight series," Romney told the Today show in a discussion of the books he reads. "I thought that was fun."
If Romney were to win in 2012, he would be the first teenage girl in American history to serve as president. [Today/NBC]

Four of a kind.....Four narcissistic fools who believe their own PR

DOPRAH, a.k.a the self imposed Queen of all Mediocrity had her final, final, final going away show in CHI-TOWN which involved many other celebrities telling the meglomanical talk show host how wonderful she is....she of course set this up for herself and scheduled all the people who would be there to fawn all over her...A tad bit Narcissistic, don't ya think? Whatever...PLEASE DOPRAH, just go away. Please...we are begging you....JUST.GO.AWAY
Then we have SLICK MITT ROMNEY who said he raised 10 Million dollars in a one night phone bank callathon just the other day...Must have been a compelling sales pitch, " Hi, I'm calling from the Mitt Romney Campaign office and if you don't donate some $$$, we'll just keep calling and calling and calling until you do....."
Likely those who were waterboarded at GITMO got off easier than having to listen to his drivel...Just like the speech he gave last week which was pretty much labeled "desperate" by anyone who saw it and those who see him for what he is, another narcissistic fool who believes his own image when he looks in the mirror. Mitt, just GO AWAY....we're begging you....You aren't going to be President of the United States, no matter how much money you stack up. And take Ann, your wife who is just as obnoxious as Obama's wife...They are a matched set, and just as delusional as their husbands.
POTUS came to Boston to garner more money from idiots who must not have a clue of how he really feels about them and the American Public....He looks down the end of his nose and sees us as " the unwashed masses ", unworthy of his greatness....Hold on, I just threw up in my mouth a little....POTUS needs to go away along with his BFF DOPRAH....Please, and take your cow of a wife with you.
Finally, we have the Governor of the State of Massachusetts, Deval " Spend-it-all" Patrick....POTUS' other BFF...and delusional fool. He got re-elected by all the folks in the state who are on state/federal assistance or are the last hold outs of the Liberals...The parts of the state that elected him have the highest dependency on state aid & federal handouts (Brockton, New Bedford, Fall River, Springfield, Boston, Cambridge, Lawrence, Lowell, etc.) His opponent, Charlie Baker garnered votes from all the suburbs and the other areas where people actually earn a paycheck, not simply line up for a handout....see a trend there?? If you don't believe me, look it up. It is a matter of record.
Governor Doofus also published a biography which isn't exactly doing so well....shocker.
Here is John Keller's take...He comments for WBZ-TV out of Boston....you can draw you own conclusion along with the citizens of Massachusetts who have heard enough from the "Empty Suit" sitting in the State House, pretending to care about the citizens, when just like POTUS, MITT and DOPRAH, he feels it is all about him....ugh. We need all four of these idiots to go away and what we need are some real leaders. We need Leaders who can make a real difference and not just make it all about THEMSELVES.
Keller @ Large: Patrick Book Not Box Office Boffo
By John Keller - WBZ-TV
Gov. Deval Patrick’s memoir may be compelling. But it isn’t selling — at least, not selling well enough so far to justify the $1.3 million advance paid by Broadway Books for “A Reason to Believe: Lessons from an Improbable Life.”
The book was officially released on April 12, kicking off a media blitz including high-profile appearances on the “Today Show” and “The Daily Show.” Thirty-five days later, after a one-week-stand at #25 on the New York Times bestseller list and a one-week visit to the Boston Globe’s list, Nielsen Bookscan had logged 4,293 copies sold, according to data supplied by an industry source.
By comparison, in March, Politico noted that roughly a month after the release of his memoir, Sen. Scott Brown had a “disappointing” 15,534 copies sold, also according to Nielsen Bookscan, which monitors bookstore sales. (It’s not known how many copies were purchased by Brown himself for use as gifts to supporters and donors, a common industry practice that Patrick has so far eschewed, according to a spokesman for his campaign committee.)
With the national publicity tour behind him and only a sparse schedule of local appearances by the author still advertised on the Broadway Books website, the sales future of the book is uncertain. Says one high-placed executive in the publishing industry: “If I was the editor who paid $1.3M for a book that’s netted that many copies in its first month of publication, I’d be looking for a new job.”

SLICK MITT.....another fool in love with his own PR and who envisions himself as President
Well SLICK MITT Romney did just that on a family trip where he had to find room for all the items needed and decided that he could place the Family's Dog Kennel on the roof of the station wagon for a family trip.....The report from TIME Magazine is enclosed below.....
Sorry, if you show so little care for the family dog, I seriously question your judgement on all things especially being qualified for the Presidency of the United States. Obama is not the guy I want in the Oval Office either but SLICK MITT Romney is just as bad....they are a pair of Feckless Idiots who are in love with themselves and care very little about the rest of us.
Romney's Cruel Canine Vacation
By ANA MARIE COX - Time Magazine
The reporter intended the anecdote that opened part four of the Boston Globe's profile of Mitt Romney to illustrate, as the story said, "emotion-free crisis management": Father deals with minor — but gross — incident during a 1983 family vacation, and saves the day. But the details of the event are more than unseemly — they may, in fact, be illegal.
The incident: dog excrement found on the roof and windows of the Romney station wagon. How it got there: Romney strapped a dog carrier — with the family dog Seamus, an Irish Setter, in it — to the roof of the family station wagon for a twelve hour drive from Boston to Ontario, which the family apparently completed, despite Seamus's rather visceral protest.
Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws specifically prohibit anyone from carrying an animal "in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the animal carried thereon." An officer for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals responded to a description of the situation saying "it's definitely something I'd want to check out." The officer, Nadia Branca, declined to give a definitive opinion on whether Romney broke the law but did note that it's against state law to have a dog in an open bed of a pick-up truck, and "if the dog was being carried in a way that endangers it, that would be illegal." And while it appears that the statute of limitations has probably passed, Stacey Wolf, attorney and legislative director for the ASPCA, said "even if it turns out to not be against the law at the time, in the district, we'd hope that people would use common sense...Any manner of transporting a dog that places the animal in serious danger is something that we'd think is inappropriate...I can't speak to the accuracy of the case, but it raises concerns about the judgment used in this particular situation."
Ingrid Newkirk, president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, was less circumspect. PETA does not have a position on Romney's candidacy per se, but Newkirk called the incident "a lesson in cruelty that was ... wrong for [his children] to witness...Thinking of the wind, the weather, the speed, the vulnerability, the isolation on the roof, it is commonsense that any dog who's under extreme stress might show that stress by losing control of his bowels: that alone should have been sufficient indication that the dog was, basically, being tortured." Romney, of course, has expressed support for the use of "enhanced interrogation" techniques when it comes to terrorists; his campaign refused to comment about the treatment of his dog.
As organizer of the Salt Lake City Olympic Games, Romney came under fire from some animal welfare groups for including a rodeo exhibition as part of the Games' festivities. At the time, he told protesters, "We are working hard to make this as safe a rodeo for cowboys and animals as is humanly possible."

But what I meant to say was......Slick Mitt is at it again

The guy is soooooo desperate and it shows.....Mitt Romney maybe an OK person but he is NOT the LEADER we need as his style of leadership is all POL, all the time.....
We need LEADERSHIP and so far, trading " Barry from Chicago" for Slick Mitt would be bad....We need to get rid of both of these fools and find some real Leadership to help us out.....the problem is that person has yet to be found.....2012 election cycle is here and we have no real Leaders....
Romney learns even op-eds not safe
By Glen Johnson, Boston Globe Staff
Live by the op-ed, die by the op-ed.
Expected Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney learned that today, when he made an apparent gaffe in what has become the favored form of communication in his carefully choreographed pre-campaign run-up: the newspaper op-ed column.
The former Massachusetts governor found that when you virtually limit your media exposure to written columns, as opposed to unrestricted media questions, you can control your message — but you also leave no one else to blame when there's trouble.
In a piece for the New Hampshire Union Leader, Romney again excoriated President Obama for Standard & Poor's announcing that it was changing its long-term view for US treasuries from "stable to "negative."
While the rating agency retained the country's AAA bond rating, Romney jumped on its warning (which, incidentally, was directed at both to the White House and Congress).
"Barack Obama is facing a financial emergency on a grander scale," he wrote. "Yet his approach has been to engage in one of the biggest peacetime spending binges in American history. With its failed stimulus package, its grandiose new social programs, its fervor for more taxes and government regulations, and its hostility toward business, the administration has made the debt problem worse, hindered economic recovery and needlessly cost American workers countless jobs."
Romney's use of the word "peacetime" prompted questions in a country at war in both Iraq and Afghanistan, and which led a coalition no-fly zone over Libya. The first two actions were started by Obama's predecessor, fellow Republican President Bush; the latter was begun by the current president, a Democrat.
That inconsistency was pointed out by news organizations, as well as by the Democratic National Committee and Democrats in the lead presidential primary state of New Hampshire.
And that prompted Romney to issue a clarification this afternoon.
"He meant to say, `Since World War II,'" said spokeswoman Andrea Saul

Three Empty Suits....Would you buy a used car from them?? Probably not - So why would you bother to vote for them ???

You wouldn't buy a used car from any of these three feckless idiots.....so why would you trust them to be in charge of our country??
Romney was elected Governor in Massachusetts and promptly went on the road to run for President....He was a no-show for his job and tried to sell himself to the country.....He failed.
Deval " Spend It All " Patrick has just reelected in Massachusetts (mainly by union supporters) and has started to follow the same pattern, shilling for POTUS instead of doing the job he was just re-elected for....another failure trying to sell himself and his buddy nationally.
Obama has been doing "on the job" training for the past two years and failing miserably.....and now he wants to say he deserves another 4 years.....Are you kidding me??? It is no surprise to me that his new slogan " Winning the Future" abbreviates as " WTF " because every time this fool opens his mouth, WTF? is the first thing I say after hearing his level of stupidity....another failure.
So, there we have it....Three Failures all tripping over each other to try and convince you and me they know better than us and should be trusted to be the one who is in charge of our Government.......Riiiiiiggggghhhht.
I just wish that these three DUNCES would just go do something else and leave the business of running our country to someone who is more qualified and can get the job done.
Right now, I would trust Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey more than any of these three fools.....We need someone who will look out for the average Joe, not the Unions and not the deep pocketed contributors.
The three fools pictured at the top of this post are not looking out for you.....only themselves and their big contributors.........
Give your vote and support to someone else - Tell all three of them to take a hike......
You'll thank me later.
