OBAMA MUCKS IT UP - Calls US NAVY SEAL ADM. McRAVEN " General McRaven"

What a clueless chump - Time to GO Mr. Obama - We've had enough of your stupidity.

From http://riehlworldview.com/2012/08/barack-obama-botches-rank-of-top-navy-seal-william-mcraven.html

Barack Obama botches rank of top Navy SEAL William McRaven August 23, 2012

Obama: ‘I’d advise that you talk to General McRaven, who’s in charge of our Special Ops. I think he has a point of view in terms of how deeply I care about what these folks do each and every day to protect our freedom.’

Oops: “The difficulty with this is that William McRaven is and admiral not a general. As a SEAL, he is member of the US Navy, not US Army or US Marines.” More via Barack Obama botches rank of top Navy SEAL William McRaven | Mail Online. Obama has made mistakes with military terminology before.

In February 2010, he mispronounced ‘corpsman’ – as ‘corpse-man’ instead of ‘core-man’ several times. Last year, he mixed up two Medal of Honor recipients, saying that ‘Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honour to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously’.

The Real Story - Romney is winning and the MEDIA is baised against him

The shite has already started from those in the LIB Media who want to keep Obama in office.  The stories are like the one posted in Newsweek ( You mean they are still in business??) with a story title like " The Obama Landslide ??" - Puhleeeeeze.

This crap about Obama winning is just that - CRAP.

Pro Publica analyzed the news over the last few months and found that news reports written about Romney were 84% negative...... 84% !!  That is from a non-biased organization dedicated to providing the facts.

People are hurting, unemployment is outta control, the economy is teetering on a 2nd recession and the media thinks people believe that the Village Idiot from Chicago is going to get re-elected ???

Bull.  That's what this it is  -  out & out BULLSHITE.

The Media think putting down a self-made millionaire is going to work with people who see that the President has never held a job in the private sector in his adult life???  I vote for the candidate who knows how to make money in the private sector. All Obama wants to do is print up and hand out more federal dollars out of our pockets.

Read this and get a fresh perspective of what the media are trying to do.....then Vote the Idiot in the White House out of office.  If you care about our country, don't give Obama four more years to continue the crap he has wrought upon our nation.  He is not worthy and we, the American people deserve better.

The Real Poll Numbers
By Dick Morris on August 6, 2012

The media is trying to create a sense of momentum and of inevitability about the Obama candidacy. One benighted Newsweek reporter even speculated about a possible Democratic landslide.

On Friday, I saw the real numbers. These state-by-state polls, taken by an organization I trust (after forty years of polling) show the real story. The tally is based on more than 600 likely voter interviews in each swing state within the past eight days.

The trend line is distinctly pro-Romney. Of the thirteen states studied, he improved or Obama slipped in nine states while the reverse happened in only four. To read the media, one would think that Romney had a terrible month. In fact, the exact reverse is true.

Romney is currently leading in every state McCain carried plus: Indiana, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Nevada, North Carolina, and Colorado. If he carries these states, he’ll have 228 electoral votes of the 270 he needs to win.

To win the election, Romney would then have to carry Florida where he trails by two points, and either Virginia (behind by two) or Ohio where he’s down by only one.

If he carries all three of these states and also wins all the others where Obama is now at 50% or less – Iowa, New Mexico, Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey — he will get 351 electoral votes, a landslide about equal to Obama’s 363 vote tally in 2008.

The strong probability is that Romney does, in fact, carry Florida, Ohio, and Virginia and a share of the other states where Obama is below 50% of the vote.

So don’t believe the garbage being put out by the media. The attempt to portray Romney as not catching on and as dropping in the polls is ludicrous. It is, at best, the product of incompetent polling and, at worst, the result of deliberate media bias. But Romney is winning and expanding his lead each week. That’s the real story

Hard to tell who is the bigger dummy

Obama and Reid are a pair of Dummies.  If they think the American people believe anything they say, it proves they really are a pair of dummies - unethical and without honor.

Time to go Mr. Obama and take Hapless Harry Reid with you.....

Obama Campaign sues to restrict voting by the military

Let me get this straight - The President and his Democratic allies will do anything they can to allow access to vote, including making sure that laws are in place that likely allow people who are non-citizens to vote BUT they have gone to court to limit access to voting for our US Military members???  Really ???

If you have served our country or have someone you love who defended this country in uniform, you need to VOTE the unethical, shallow hypocrite out of office.

The President has proven to be unfit to command and undeserving of the support of anyone who cares about the defense of our country.

Obama campaign sues to restrict voting by military
Rick Moran - The American Thinker

If requiring a citizen to show a picture ID to vote is "suppressing the vote," what does it mean when the Obama campaign really makes an effort to prevent our soldiers from voting?

President Barack Obama, along with many Democrats, likes to say that, while they may disagree with the GOP on many issues related to national security, they absolutely share their admiration and dedication to members of our armed forces. Obama, in particular, enjoys being seen visiting troops and having photos taken with members of our military. So, why is his campaign and the Democrat party suing to restrict their ability to vote in the upcoming election?

On July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in OH to strike down part of that state's law governing voting by members of the military. Their suit said that part of the law is "arbitrary" with "no discernible rational basis."

Currently, Ohio allows the public to vote early in-person up until the Friday before the election. Members of the military are given three extra days to do so. While the Democrats may see this as "arbitrary" and having "no discernible rational basis," I think it is entirely reasonable given the demands on servicemen and women's time and their obligations to their sworn duty.

The National Defense Committee reports:

[f]or each of the last three years, the Department of Defense's Federal Voting Assistance Program has reported to the President and the Congress that the number one reason for military voter disenfranchisement is inadequate time to successfully vote.

I think it's unconscionable that we as a nation wouldn't make it as easy as possible for members of the military to vote. They arguably have more right to vote than the rest of us, since it is their service and sacrifice that ensures we have the right to vote in the first place.

I would disagree that the military has "more right" to vote than anyone. Everyone has an equal right to vote as long as they're registered and a citizen, and by saying that some have a greater right to vote, it means that others have a lesser right to vote -- and that's unacceptable.

Not really important, except it appears the Obama administration is buying that argument. With the suit, they are saying that our soldiers have a lesser right to vote than others. The law is designed to give military personnel an equal opportunity to cast their ballot. and by fighting that notion, the Obama campaign is seeking to suppress the military vote, knowing that it usually goes 2-1 Republican

" You didn't build that..."

It is very likely he would have been thrown over the side......sounds like a great idea.

What an idiot.  A failure who has been exposed by his own words....Time to go Mr.Obama.

Retired US NAVY SEAL launches anti-Obama PAC

ALL I can say is BRAVO ZULU to this retired US NAVY SEAL.....

This is just what we need - Those who swore an oath promising that " I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic" need better leadership than what we have seen from the grandstanding idiot from Chicago.

Based on the actions of the sitting President, he acts in the manner of a domestic enemy of the US Constitution.

Retired US NAVY SEAL launches anti-Obama PAC
Asbury Park Press - July 18, 2012

A new super PAC that includes retired special operations personnel and other veterans announced plans Wednesday to raise money to run ads in swing states against President Obama.

The group, Special Operations for America, filed paperwork Monday with the Federal Election Commission. It is headed by retired Navy SEAL Commander Ryan Zinke. During his 23-year career, Zinke spent time in the Navy’s elite SEAL Team 6, the same team that killed Osama bin Laden in a commando raid last year.

Zinke said he and other members of the special operations community are outraged that SEAL Team 6 was identified as the commando unit that carried out the raid, saying it put its members and their families at risk. Zinke said he believes the president has politicized his role as commander in chief to win re-election.

“Who was it at risk?” he said. “Was it the president? Or was it the young SEAL with the wife and kid at home? That’s the arrogance.”

Zinke, a Republican state senator from Montana, said the group also objects to deep military cuts and increases in health care costs to veterans. While he agreed there’s room for cuts in military spending, he said the $1.1 trillion in cuts over 10 years that could start at the end of the year are too deep.

Special Operations for America is registered as a 527 group, and it can take unlimited amounts of money from contributors. Whatever money the organization eventually raises, Hommel said, would be used to air ads in swing states targeted on veterans issues.

Rob Diamond, the national veterans and military families vote director for the Obama campaign, said the president “has their backs” when it comes to veterans and military families, and the president’s record is a “stark contrast” to Mitt Romney’s. He said Romney has refused to outline plans for veterans, has suggested that health services provided by Veterans Affairs be privatized and has failed to put forth a specific jobs proposal to get veterans back to work.

“Even worse, his reckless and nave statements about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan show that he would prefer our servicemen and women remain overseas, indefinitely fighting in wars he has no strategy to lead and no plan to end,” Diamond said in a statement.

Not all members of the new super PAC are veterans, Zinke said. Members are “people who have been successful on the battlefield or in business.” Its board includes former Republican Sen. Conrad Burns of Montana and former Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons, and it has ties to the conservative groups Stand Up for America and Veterans for a Strong America.

“It’s a good group of guys, and they’re going to come out swinging,” said Joel Arends, an Iraq Army veteran and chairman of Veterans for a Strong America.

But Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics said there’s debate over how much influence these types of groups have in presidential elections.

Sabato thinks macro issues drive presidential elections, issues such as the economy, war and peace and scandals. In this election, the campaigns for Obama and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney have been competently run so far, he said.

Still, polls generally give Romney an edge with veterans, he said, and such groups can have an effect on the margins. But they aren’t the deciding forces.

“I don’t think it will be one of the things we’ll cite after the election’s over,” he said.

People joining SSI Disability Outpaces New Jobs last three years

This is the key indicator that the present occupant of the White House isn't getting it done.   It pretty poor when more people take advantage of DISABILITY than are able to get new jobs.

Obama has got to go......really.  We need a President that understands how to create jobs and not act like a petulant teenager.

Obama is a one term President.....this is the clearest indicator he is a failed leader.

Disability Ranks Outpace New Jobs In Obama Recovery
By JOHN MERLINE - INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY

More workers joined the federal government's disability program in June than got new jobs, according to two new government reports, a clear indicator of how bleak the nation's jobs picture is after three full years of economic recovery.

The economy created just 80,000 jobs in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. But that same month, 85,000 workers left the workforce entirely to enroll in the Social Security Disability Insurance program, according to the Social Security Administration.

The disability ranks have outpaced job growth throughout President Obama's recovery. While the economy has created 2.6 million jobs since June 2009, fully 3.1 million workers signed up for disability benefits.

In other words, the number of new disability enrollees has climbed 19% faster than the number of jobs created during the sluggish recovery. (Even after accounting for people who left the disability program because they died or aged into retirement, disability ranks have climbed more than 1.1 million in the past three years.)

And the disability ranks will continue to swell. In just the last month, almost 275,000 put in applications for disability benefits. Experts say that more people try to get on disability when jobs are scarce, and changes to eligibility rules enacted back in 1984 have made it far easier to qualify.

In addition, while hiring has been very weak during the recovery, the number of people who have dropped out of the labor force entirely has exploded by 7.3 million since June 2009, an IBD analysis of BLS data show. Some aged into retirement, but most either signed up for disability, stayed in school, moved back in with parents, or just quit looking for a job.

As a result, the "labor force participation rate" — the number of people who have jobs or are actively looking for one compared with the entire working-age population — is now 63.8%, down from 65.7% in June 2009. This participation rate is at the lowest levels in 30 years. In previous recoveries, the participation rate has almost always risen, not fallen.

Other indicators show that the three-year-old economic recovery isn't producing jobs in adequate numbers:

The unemployment rate has been above 8% for 41 consecutive months. In the previous 60 years, the jobless topped 8% in a total of only 39 months.

The number of people with jobs is still nearly 5 million below its pre-recession peak.

The number of long-term unemployed — those out of work 27 weeks or more — is still 5.4 million — almost 1 million higher than when the recovery began, and almost twice the level it ever reached prior to Obama's recovery.

Cratering

The enclosed picture shows the El Elegante Crater, part of the Pinacate Biosphere Reserve in northwestern Sonora, Mexico, and is about 1 mile in diameter and 800 feet deep.

Or it could be an accurate dicpictation of the re-election efforts and political aptitude of the Obama White House.

The Obama Political Machine is cratering.....in the fashion expected after 3 1/2 years of ineptitude, self absorbed BS and all the other things that we have seen from the idiot-in-charge and his gang of self proclaimed " smartest people" in Washington.

The wheels have come off the wagon and it has pitched over the cliff....

To quote Will Smith (one of Obama's biggest fans) from the movie " I Robot " -

" You know, somehow " I told you so" doesn't quite cover it..."

The capper to the past month of crappola from the White House was the recent interview when a reporter asked the President why he didn't go to Wisconsin to support the Democrat running against Governor Paul Walker - His answer was " The truth of the matter is that as President of the United States, I've got a lot of responsibilities..."

Yeah, like flying all over the country on the taxpayers dime to the hundred or more fundraisers you went to so far this year...more than the previous 6 Presidents held combined.

Cratering.....His career, our economy and his hopes of being taken seriously by anyone -

To say his administration is a " trainwreck " would be complimentary.  It is over.

Now we need to get to the business of electing his successor, and get the economy back on track - not with more public service jobs helping Obama's Union buddies, but with building up the American economy with decent jobs tied to helping all, not just those hacks who have connections to the DEMS.

Less government, more opportunity for all and less BS from Washington -

The American public has had enough from a White House full of delusional idjits that wasted Trillions of our taxdollars over the last three and 1/2 years.  This administration has cratered.

Pileup at the White House
By Dana Milbank, Tuesday, June 12, 3:53 AM

Washington Post

It has been a Junius Horribilis for President Obama.

Job growth has stalled, the Democrats have been humiliated in Wisconsin, the attorney general is facing a contempt-of-Congress citation, talks with Pakistan have broken down, Bill Clinton is contradicting Obama, Mitt Romney is outraising him, Democrats and Republicans alike are complaining about a “cascade” of national-security leaks from his administration, and he is now on record as saying that the “private sector is doing fine.”

Could it get any worse?

Early Monday morning, Obama learned that it could. His aides delivered the news to him that his commerce secretary had been cited for a felony hit-and-run after allegedly crashing his car three times over the weekend. In one incident, the previously obscure Cabinet officer apparently rear-ended a Buick, spoke to the car’s occupants, then hit the vehicle again as he left.

Thus did Jay Carney, the oft-besieged White House press secretary, have another briefing carjacked by bad news. And Carney, who either didn’t know the details of the bizarre episode or wasn’t at liberty to divulge them, had to execute a full range of defensive maneuvers.

“I can simply tell you that he was engaged, as has been reported, in a couple of traffic incidents,” Carney began, as if the secretary, John Bryson, had been photographed by a speed camera or two. Bryson “suffered a seizure, was hospitalized. But beyond that I’ll refer you to Commerce for the details.”

“Is the secretary healthy and fit to serve?” inquired Ben Feller of the Associated Press.
“I would refer you to the Commerce Department.”

Ann Compton of ABC News asked whether the White House chief of staff, who spoke to Bryson, considers the incident serious.

“I don’t have a specific response to give you,” Carney said.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar asked about “the timing of the seizure in relation to the accident.”
“I would refer you, as I said in the past, to the Department of Commerce,” Carney answered.

“I’ve been asking them for hours,” Keilar protested.
“I think I would refer you to the Commerce Department,” was Carney’s rote reply.

The former journalist informed the questioners that he “was not a presiding doctor on this case” and could confirm only that “the commerce secretary was alone, he had a seizure, he was involved in an accident.”

“He was involved in several accidents,” called out April Ryan of American Urban Radio.
“Thank you for the correction,” Carney said. He did not sound grateful.

Carney’s non-defense doesn’t suggest much job security for Bryson, who, depending on what caused the episode Saturday, has either a medical problem or a legal problem.
For the White House, it was just the latest entry in the when-it-rains-it-pours ledger. This has been one of the worst stretches of the Obama presidency. In Washington, there is a creeping sense that the bottom has fallen out and that there may be no second term. Privately, senior Obama advisers say they are no longer expecting much economic improvement before the election.

Carney had the unenviable task of confronting the full arsenal of gloom at Monday afternoon’s briefing.

The AP asked about the president’s unfortunate private-sector-is-fine remark. The Reuters correspondent asked about the economic “head winds” from Europe. Ed Henry of Fox News Channel asked about the looming contempt-of-Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder. Margaret Talev of Bloomberg News asked about the Supreme Court striking down Obamacare. Norah O’Donnell of CBS News asked about calls for a special prosecutor to probe leaks. Victoria Jones of Talk Radio News asked about the stalled talks with Pakistan.

Carney sought relief by calling on TV correspondents from swing states, but the one from Wisconsin asked about the failed attempt to recall Republican Gov. Scott Walker and the one from Nevada asked about her state’s unemployment rate, the nation’s highest.
Mostly, though, questions veered back to the commerce secretary’s motoring.
AP Radio’s Mark Smith asked whether Bryson “is now on medical leave.”

“I would refer you to the Commerce Department.” (Eight hours later, Carney issued a statement saying that Bryson was indeed taking such a leave.)

Ryan asked about “mandatory physicals” for Cabinet nominees.
“I don’t have any details about that.”

A New York Daily News correspondent asked if Obama has confidence in Bryson staying on the job with a “felony rap.”

This one Carney answered — by not answering. “He is concerned about Secretary Bryson’s health and broadly about the incident,” the spokesman said — in marked contrast to the “absolute confidence” he said a moment later that Obama has in Holder.

Apparently Bryson will have to clean up his own wreckage. This White House has too many other pileups to deal with.

Clueless - The President is Utterly Clueless

CLUELESS.

It is the only (polite) word that can be used to describe the President.

Utterly clueless.  If “The private sector is doing fine.”, why are so many good workers on the sidelines? Why would people like me seek work overseas ?  Why have millions gone through their benefits and still can't find work??  Why are families having a tougher time than ever meeting the basic needs ?

This idiot who conned his way into the highest office in the land needs to go.  There is no spin you can put on this to make it better.  The Democrats are delusional if they feel the country needs 4 more years of this stupidity.

Romney is no superstar and will not be cheered as charismatic but right now we need a competent leader.  The last three and half years have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama must go.

Obama is wrong. The private sector isn’t ‘doing fine’

By James Pethokoukis - The Enterprise Blog
June 8, 2012,

In his news conference today, President Obama gave some interesting insight into his views of the state of the American economy.
“The private sector is doing fine.”
Here is the whole quote (via RealClearPolitics):
The truth of the matter is that, as I said, we created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months, over 800,000 just this year alone. The private sector is doing fine. Where we’re seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. Oftentimes cuts initiated by, you know, Governors or mayors who are not getting the kind of help that they have in the past from the federal government and who don’t have the same kind of flexibility as the federal government in dealing with fewer revenues coming in.
But is it really? Is the private sector “doing fine?”

1. Private-sector jobs have increased by an average of just 105,000 over the past three months and by just 89,000 a month during the entire Obama Recovery.
In 1983 and 1984, during the supply-side Reagan Boom, private sector jobs increased by an average of 292,000 a month. Adjusted for population, that number is more like 375,000 private-sector jobs a month
2. If the labor force participation rate for May had just stayed where it was in April, the unemployment rate would have risen to 8.4%. As it is, the U.S. economy is suffering is longest sustained bout of 8% unemployment or higher since the Great Depression.
3. Private-sector GDP rose just 2.6% in the first quarter, after rising a measly 1.2% last year.
By contrast, private-sector GDP rose 3.8% in 1983 and 6.5% in 1984 during the supply-side Reagan Boom.
4. The U.S. stock market is down 7% since early April.
5. Real take-home pay is down over the past year.
6. That first-quarter GDP report also showed that after-tax corporate profits dropped for the first time in three years. Major red flag.

No, Mr. President, the private-sector isn’t doing fine at all. And it certainly isn’t ready to deal with a fiscal cliff of tax hikes or a continued deluge of new regulation

The "Oh Sh-t" moment.....we've been living it for the past three 1/2 years.....

Bill Clinton isn't a genius, but he figured it out when the phrase " It's the economy, stupid!" became the catch phrase of his election to the White House.

It should be no surprise that the feckless fool in the White House doesn't have a clue when it comes to the economy.  He spent his time in office trying to wreck the economy and catering to his idiot supporters.

The key quote in this piece is "Another former administration official called it an “ 'Oh, sh-t' moment.” "

That's rich as the American Public has been having an "Oh Sh-t" moment  every day for the past three 1/2 years.

Time to go Mr. President.....really.  You haven't got a clue and it's over.

Worst. President. Ever.

Jobs report upends 2012 race
 By Amie Parnes - TheHill.com

A dismal May jobs report is being perceived as a possible game-changer in the presidential battle between President Obama and Mitt Romney, with Republicans saying the numbers provide further proof that the economy isn’t improving.

The report showing unemployment increasing to 8.2 percent and the creation of only 69,000 jobs shook some Democrats, crystallizing their fears that the economy could tip the election in Romney’s favor in November.

It also threatened to turn Obama’s argument that the economy is improving on its head and provided flashbacks to the spring economic slowdown of last year.
“It is a little scary,” said one former White House official. “There’s no sugarcoating this one.”

Another former administration official called it an “ 'Oh, sh-t' moment.”

“It’s not good,” the former official said. “I’ll say this, I’m glad it’s June and not October.”
The bleak report led to a terrible day on Wall Street, where the Dow Jones was down nearly 300 points in trading late Friday afternoon.

Romney seized on the report, calling it “devastating” in a CNBC interview and blasting Obama’s policies as ineffective.

“The president’s policies and his handling of the economy has been dealt a harsh indictment this morning,” Romney said in the interview. “Their policies have not worked; in many respects, their policies have made it harder for the economy to recover.

“And I think that’s why people are looking for a new direction,” Romney added. “The most significant thing we can do in the near term is get a new president.”

With their public remarks, Obama — along with White House officials and other top Democrats — sought to ease concerns that the economy isn’t rebounding fast enough.

In a speech in Minnesota on Friday, the president acknowledged that while the economy is “growing again … it’s not growing as fast as we want it to grow.”

“The economy still isn’t where it needs to be,” he said. “We’ve got a lot of work to do until we are where we need to be."

But, speaking to a crowd at the Honeywell plant, Obama vowed, “We will come back stronger. We do have better days ahead.”

Reaction to the report on the left and the right highlighted the concern for Obama. The conservative Drudge Report’s lead headline, under a photo of Obama, was “Hell Day.”

In a rare occurrence, the left-leaning Huffington Post went with a similar headline on its website, coupling a picture of a frowning Obama with the headline “Jobs Report Disaster.”

Political observers argued the latest report just doesn’t jibe with Obama’s latest campaign slogan, “Forward.”

“I think it’s a real problem for the president,” said Susan MacManus, a professor of political science at the University of South Florida. “The argument was that we’re going forward, and all of a sudden it comes to a screeching halt.”

And MacManus said the timing, right before the thick of summer, couldn’t be worse for Obama. “This is kind of the last big thing people will pay attention to before they tune out during the summer doldrums,” she said. “You’d rather enter the summer on a high note than a reverse note.”

But one former White House aide said it’s a minor blip on what the White House and the campaign see as a broader picture.

“Look, we obviously wanted a bigger number, but it’s a continuum. It’s not a snapshot,” the former aide said. “But if we would’ve had today’s numbers in 2008, people would’ve been thrilled.

“Things have gotten better,” the former aide said. “That’s the bottom line.”

One prominent economist said the White House should take heart because Friday’s report didn't capture the true growth of the labor market.

"I really do think that underlying job growth is higher than this, and we're going to see that in the coming months," said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics.
Vicki Needham contributed.

Senator John McCain on the politicizing the Raid to get OBL:"...you know the thing about heroes, they don't brag.”

4 years ago, the American Voters made a mistake. A big mistake.

They listened to Pundits that told them to vote for the wrong person for President.  For the last 3 1/2 years, we have paid dearly for that mistake.

Now, it is becoming clearer each day why we should never elected a community organizer to the highest office when we could have elected a Patriot and decorated Veteran.  We could have had someone who knows what sacrifice and freedom mean, but voters listened to the idiots in the press and we have seen how well that has gone since we elected " President Trainwreck".

His overview on using the mission to kill OBL for political purposes.  This is what a Leader sounds like.

McCain on Bin Laden raid: 'The thing about heroes, they don't brag'

By Justin Sink - 04/30/12 -thehill.com

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) continued to hammer the Obama re-election team over its use of the death of Osama bin Laden in a campaign commercial, echoing Mitt Romney's statement that any president - including Jimmy Carter - would have made the same call.

“I say any president, Jimmy Carter, anybody, any president would have, obviously, under those circumstances, done the same thing. And to now take credit for something that any president would do is indicative of take over campaign we're under -- we're -- we're seeing…So all I can say is that this is going to be a very rough campaign," McCain told Fox News in an interview set to air Monday night. "And I've had the great honor of serving in the company of heroes. And, you know the thing about heroes, they don't brag.”
