President Obama & Hillary Clinton - Guilty of Dereliction of Duty and Cowardice in the face of the enemy on Benghazi

As previously stated, I use the definitions of words to clarify a statement, such as today

Dereliction of duty generally refers a failure by a President or Senior Official to abide by the standing rules of the constitution or by-laws or perform the duties of the position appointed to.

Likewise, based on their actions, they have displayed cowardice in the face of the enemy.  No words can express the contempt all decent people feel for such abject cowardice.

By any reasonable standard of conduct as officers of our government, the President and Secretary Clinton as guilty of both offenses based on their lies and inaction on Benghazi.

I leave it up to you to decide what you believe, but I feel that they have both committed actions which should require an impeachment for the President and charges against Hillary Clinton being responsible for the deaths of 4 men along with lying to Congress.

Enclosed is a great write up of the lies and Bullsh-t that has been put out by the White House.

It is a sad day when the American People allow these two incompetents to stonewall us about what happened on that sad day in our country's history.

SUX to be you Al Qaeda - Massive Drone Strike Hits Qaida Cop Station in Yemen

On certain days, you get up in the morning and you are trying to figure out what's going on....You're not sure as the day is still early on and there is a little too much fog left in the grey matter from the night before.

THEN, you find a bit of information that catches your attention and interjects a bit of " Well Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah ! " as some stupid idjits are finding out that there are less & less places to hide from the long arm of JUSTICE.....
AWESOME USE OF THE TECHNOLOGY DUDE !

Pour it on....no let up.....keep it coming. These feckless fools think they can hide out in the Shite-wilds and send destruction to the rest of the world are swiftly finding out that we will find them and hunt them down like the shallow b@stards they are.

It makes me recall how the USA did it back in the day, and my sentiment is perfectly in line with this President's words uttered in Congress on Dec. 8th, 1941:

"
No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated (attack), the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.

I believe that I interpret the will of the Congress and of the people when I assert that we will not only defend ourselves to the uttermost, but will make it very certain that this form of treachery shall never again endanger us.

Hostilities exist. There is no blinking at the fact that our people, our territory, and our interests are in grave danger.

With confidence in our armed forces, with the unbounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph -- so help us God
."

Massive Drone Strike Hits Qaida Cop Station in Yemen
By Spencer Ackerman Wired.com / Danger Room

At some point, al-Qaida is going to have to figure out that gathering in conspicuous places just means giving a big, fat, blinking red target to the killer drones hovering above.

In the latest sign of the intensifying U.S. shadow war in Yemen, drones hit a police station in Abyan Province, where fighters from al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula have flocked during the country’s ongoing political crisis. al-Qaida reportedly took over the station, prompting the drone(s) to take action.

Early reports are conflicting, but the strike might have a massive death toll attached. The New York Times says eight militants are dead, but CNN claims that the body count is at 50. Either way, there’s a lesson here: al-Qaida gatherings are drone bait.

According to stats compiled by the Long War Journal, it’s the third U.S. airstrike in Yemen this year, which really means since May. The next strike will tie the total from all of 2010.

Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula can’t say it wasn’t warned. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, the former CIA director, tells anyone who’ll listen how drone strikes, commando raids and other inconspicuous, lethal applications of force are his preferred solution to the al-Qaida problem. Same goes for incoming Special Operations Command chief Vice. Adm. William McRaven. New CIA Director David Petraeus is cool taking militants dead or alive.

Not to suggest there’s a bright side to al-Qaida’s strength in Abyan, but if the militants feel they can run the province with impunity, their operational security standards are likely to drop. The newer model Reaper drones at the U.S.’ disposal increasingly carry smaller, lighter weapons — 35 pound missiles, down from a 100-pound Hellfire — and more of them. That means more opportunities to hit more al-Qaida targets, especially if the terrorist group is going to set up conspicuous de facto bases. Maybe it’s time to rethink the concept of “safe haven.”

This cannot be good...Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have links to Al Qaeda..and advanced weaponry they could use against the US Military

The adage of " My enemies' enemy is my friend" has been used many times when an alliance with other forces seems to be a marriage of convenience/necessity in answer to a threat rather than one that is well thought out....in the case of what is happening in Libya, this cannot be good.

The idea that we will be arming and supporting Libyan Rebel Forces, who are also alligned with Al Qeada, in the fight against Momar Ghaddafi, who a few years ago were fighting our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan is more than worrisome....it is wrong.

And the news only gets worse - " Idriss Deby Itno, Chad's president, said al-Qaeda has managed to pillage military arsenals in the Libyan rebel zone and acquired arms, "including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries".

That info, if true, constitutes a clear and present danger to our forces across the Middle East and Afghanistan....a grave danger.

Again, any sane person would start to question what we have waded into in Libya if one of the outcomes is arming sworn enemies of the United States with advanced weaponry that could cause the deaths of our troops...I feel that POTUS has a lot more explaining to do as this would constitute a failure of his position as Commander-in-Chief. I will be interested in seeing how he explains this revelation when he gets around to letting us know what we are doing in Libya....

Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qaeda links
Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, the Libyan rebel leader, has said jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq are on the front lines of the battle against Muammar Gaddafi's regime.

Mr al-Hasidi admitted he had earlier fought against 'the foreign invasion' in Afghanistan

In an interview with the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, Mr al-Hasidi admitted that he had recruited "around 25" men from the Derna area in eastern Libya to fight against coalition troops in Iraq. Some of them, he said, are "today are on the front lines in Adjabiya".

Mr al-Hasidi insisted his fighters "are patriots and good Muslims, not terrorists," but added that the "members of al-Qaeda are also good Muslims and are fighting against the invader".

His revelations came even as Idriss Deby Itno, Chad's president, said al-Qaeda had managed to pillage military arsenals in the Libyan rebel zone and acquired arms, "including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries".

Mr al-Hasidi admitted he had earlier fought against "the foreign invasion" in Afghanistan, before being "captured in 2002 in Peshwar, in Pakistan". He was later handed over to the US, and then held in Libya before being released in 2008.

US and British government sources said Mr al-Hasidi was a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, or LIFG, which killed dozens of Libyan troops in guerrilla attacks around Derna and Benghazi in 1995 and 1996.

Even though the LIFG is not part of the al-Qaeda organisation, the United States military's West Point academy has said the two share an "increasingly co-operative relationship". In 2007, documents captured by allied forces from the town of Sinjar, showed LIFG emmbers made up the second-largest cohort of foreign fighters in Iraq, after Saudi Arabia.

Earlier this month, al-Qaeda issued a call for supporters to back the Libyan rebellion, which it said would lead to the imposition of "the stage of Islam" in the country.

British Islamists have also backed the rebellion, with the former head of the banned al-Muhajiroun proclaiming that the call for "Islam, the Shariah and jihad from Libya" had "shaken the enemies of Islam and the Muslims more than the tsunami that Allah sent against their friends, the Japanese".

James Bond's 1964 Aston Martin DB5 sells for $4.6 million

Damn....these guys have the car that I would love to own...and I would NOT just leave it in a museum....this baby needs to be driven.

I loved the interchange between 007 and Q, especially when it came to a piece of kit as awesome as the Aston Martin DB5

Q: [Showing Bond a tracking device] Reception on the dashboard, here. Audo-visual

Q: , range a hundred and fifty miles.

James Bond: Ingenious, and useful too. Allow a man to stop off for a quick one en route.

Q: It has not been perfected, out of years of patient research, ENTIRELY for that purpose, 007. And incidentally, we'd appreciate its return, along with all your other equipment, INTACT for once, when you return from the field.

James Bond: Well, you'd be surprised the amount of wear and tear that goes on out there in the field.

Q: Now this one I'm particularly keen about. You see the gear lever here? Now, if you take the top off, you will find a little red button. Whatever you do, don't touch it.

James Bond: Yeah, why not?

Q: Because you'll release this section of the roof, and engage and then fire the passenger ejector seat. Whish!

James Bond: Ejector seat? You're joking!

Q: I never joke about my work, 007

James Bond's Aston Martin car sells for $4.6 million

LONDON (Reuters Life!) – An American businessman bought James Bond's 1964 Aston Martin DB5 for 2.9 million pounds ($4.59 million) at a London auction on Wednesday.

The car driven by Sean Connery in his portrayal of the suave but lethal British secret agent in the "Goldfinger" and "Thunderball" Bond films sold for less than its 3.5 million pound pre-sale estimate to businessman Harry Yeaggy, auctioneers RM Auctions said in a statement after the sale.

"This is a car that I've always wanted, after all it is the most famous car in the world," Yeaggy said in the statement. "My plan is to display it in my private car museum in Ohio just as it is."

Yeaggy is only the second ex-factory owner of the distinctive silver-colored car. Seller Jerry Lee, an American radio broadcaster based in Philadelphia, PA, purchased the car direct from the Aston Martin Lagonda factory for $12,000 in 1969.

The car is one of two, and the sole remaining, of the original "007" DB5s that appeared on screen with Connery behind the wheel in Goldfinger and Thunderball.

The model was sold complete with its "Q-Branch" gadgets including machine guns, bullet-proof shield, revolving number plates, tracking device, removable roof panel, oil slick sprayer, nail spreader and smoke screen.

Several of the gadgets are fully operational, although the machine guns are not real.

Lee plans to use the proceeds from the sale for charity.

In addition to the car, the Yeaggy receives an exclusive seven-night stay for 10 guests at the newly opened GoldenEye Resort in Jamaica -- Bond author Ian Fleming's Caribbean estate -- and a gold thread bespoke suit from Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes.

A true " Liberty Bell" report....Al-Qaida in Pakistan gravest threat to US

Back in the day when I was a young college lad, I had the opportunity to visit with a friend who resided in Pennsylvania.....at Villanova University to be precise.

We had the usual fun one would expect to occur at such a seat of "higher learning", and ventured down to Philadelphia for some evening pub crawling...

Late upon the evening in question, my buddy led us down to the Liberty Bell Museum, where you could observe the Liberty Bell, 24 hours a day, as it was in a building that featured a large glass window, illuminated brightly for late night Bell Observers like ourselves.....

In the state of mind we were in at the time, he showed us the Liberty Bell, and then pressed a button on the wall next to the outside window....in a second or two, an automated voice started speaking from the small speaker mounted on the wall extoling, " THIS IS THE LIBERTY BELL..."

At this point, my buddy and his local pals yelled out at the top of their voices,
" NO SHIT ! ", and then proceeded to laugh themselves silly....

They apparently developed this "ritual" over a number of excursions to the site late at night....

From that day on, any " No Shit " issue became a " Liberty Bell" as this was the inside joke and a politer way of stating the obvious....

And here we arrive at the latest info put out by the present Administration that qualifies for a large " LIBERTY BELL" response....
Now the key question is, What the #$@% are you going to do about it Mr. President???
Especially since Pakistan has nuclear weapons, and they represent a clear & present danger to all the world if these idiots get them....
To quote Dr. Alfred Lanning: *That*, Detective, is the right question.

Report: Al-Qaida in Pakistan gravest threat to US

By MATTHEW LEE, Associated Press Writer Matthew Lee, Associated Press Writer – Thu Aug 5, 4:56 pm ET

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration said Thursday that al-Qaida's core membership in Pakistan, along with affiliates in Africa and Yemen, poses the most dangerous terrorist threat to the United States and its interests abroad.

In its annual report on global terrorism, the
State Department said that although al-Qaida suffered some setbacks in Pakistan last year, it is "adaptable and resilient" and has expanded its reach through proxy groups.

The report for 2009 also said the terrorist network remains "actively engaged in operational plotting" of attacks against U.S. and Western targets around the world.

As in previous years, the report identified Iran as the most active "state sponsor of terrorism" and said its backing of militant groups in the Middle East and Central Asia played a highly destabilizing role in those regions. The report also left unchanged "state sponsor" designations for Cuba,
Sudan and Syria.

It also found that an increase in terrorist attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan triggered a spike in the number of civilians killed or wounded there last year, pushing South Asia past the
Middle East as the top terror region in the world. Those statistics are contained in an annex to the report first published in late April.

On al-Qaida in Pakistan, the report said the group is "the most formidable terrorist organization" targeting the U.S. homeland and "has proven to be an adaptable and resilient terrorist group whose desire to attack the United States and
U.S. interests abroad remains strong."

It said the organization was "was actively engaged in operational plotting against the United States and continued recruiting, training, and deploying operatives, including individuals from
Western Europe and North America."

Although the Pakistani government has taken some steps to rein in the group, al-Qaida's losses have been at least "partially offset" by partnerships, shared connections and objectives with groups such as the Yemen-based al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, North Africa-based al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb and Somalia-based al-Shabab, the report said.

The State Department noted with concern that al-Qaida, particularly in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, appeared to be attracting growing numbers of radicalized Americans to its cause. Underscoring that concern, the Justice Department on Thursday announced indictments against a number of U.S. citizens for supporting al-Shabab.

"The assumption that Americans have some special immunity to al-Qaida's ideology (has been) dispelled," said Daniel Benjamin, the State Department's counterterrorism coordinator.

In 2009, five Americans were arrested on terrorism charges in Pakistan, while the Yemeni group was held responsible for the attempted Dec. 25 bombing of a U.S. jetliner as it landed in Detroit, he noted.

U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, a spiritual leader believed to be in Yemen, had links with both the failed bombing and the Fort Hood, Texas, shooting suspect, Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.
Awlaki "has catalyzed a pool of potential recruits that others have failed to reach,"
Benjamin said.
"We should make no mistake about the nature of Awlaki. This is not just an ideologue but someone at the heart of a group plotting terrorist acts against Americans."

SHOCKING NEWS - PRESIDENT DOOFUS ANNOUNCES AL QAEDA WOULD USE NUKES IF POSSIBLE....

WELL THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS !!!

Al Qaeda would likely use Nukes if they acquired them??? Really....wow......did you come up with this all by yourself??

That is why we need to defend our country, stop the "world apology tour" and get back to a strong defensive posture with those in our world who support terrorism.....

Pull your head out of your arse, President Doofus and join the "real world"...it is a bad place at times and those who would use terrorism to influence others must be caught and brought to justice.

Stop apologizing for our country being the "last best hope for the rest of world..." - WE, the defenders of freedom, (unlike our CIC who never served), who wore the uniform of our nation and defended the freedom you enjoy, have NOTHING to be sorry for....

We know the price of freedom because we have paid for it in full.

Obama: Al Qaeda Would Use Nukes If Possible
President Hosts Representatives From 47 Countries To Craft Global Agreement
WASHINGTON (AP) ―

If al Qaeda acquired nuclear weapons it "would have no compunction at using them," President Barack Obama said Sunday on the eve of a summit aimed at finding ways to secure the world's nuclear stockpile."The single biggest threat to U.S. security, both short-term, medium-term and long-term, would be the possibility of a terrorist organization obtaining a nuclear weapon,"

Obama said. "This is something that could change the security landscape in this country and around the world for years to come.""If there was ever a detonation in New York City, or London, or Johannesburg, the ramifications economically, politically and from a security perspective would be devastating," the president said."We know that organizations like Al Qaeda are in the process of trying to secure nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction, and would have no compunction at using them," Obama said.

The Nuclear Security Summit of more than 40 world leaders in Washington this week is aimed at securing "loose nuclear material," Obama said. He was holding one-on-one meetings Sunday with several of those leaders. He said other world leaders have offered "very specific approaches to how we can solve this profound international problem."
