Sheeple and why I listen to my " Sheepdog " Instincts

Most people will follow what others offer them way too easy.

The term " Sheeple " was coined by someone who correlated the way that people willingly follow what is offered to them, without thought of what they are following.

They act like Sheep and usually act with the same blind obedience as a sheep would. Germany in the 1930s & 1940s is a historic instance where this happened to an entire nation.

Now, we have this South Korean Rapper named Psy who the media and all the entertainment idiots have raised to the heights of stardom based on one video he made. One not particularly good video either - Youtube has recorded the largest number of hits on his video ever.

My "sheepdog" instincts were raised as I saw a pasty faced Korean Rapper with minimal talent and the whole world acting like this guy was the best thing next to sliced bread.  I didn't see anything on that level, so why were all these fools fawning all over him??  His talent was minimal ( like most rappers) and he was not exactly what I would call a compelling performer.

Now, we find out the real truth and why my "sheepdog" instincts knew there was something wrong with what was being offered up to us by the media idjits.  This Korean idiot is another in a long line of America haters who made statements that are more than hurtful.  This idiot wrote lyrics in 2004 calling for the death of US Military and their families

I quote:

Kill those f---ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill those f---ing Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully

If this kind of crap doesn't make your blood boil, I seriously question your patriotism.

As a Rapper, he follows in a long line of other Rappers who like to think they can say things that are highly offensive, and not have it effect them professionally. I have a clue for you dumbass, the real world doesn't work that way.  Your words matter. Those who care about our country and our military will hold you to your statements.

This dirtbag from South Korea apologized once he was outed by Michelle Malkin and I thank her for that.  Exposing this cretin and his unethical BS was sorely needed.

As a OIF Combat Veteran, and on behalf of all Veterans who were killed defending freedom (including the freedom of this low-life scumbag) who are unable to be here to comment, your apology is NOT accepted nor will it ever be accepted. If it wasn't for the American Military, the only thing you would be rapping about is living under North Korean oppression.

You can take your Rap BS and get the hell out of our country.  You are not welcome in our country, especially by those who value our freedom and value all those who protect that freedom.

His upcoming appearance at the White House shows that the other idiot in Washington, DC has just as little care for how actions effect others.  Obama has done crap in his past he has never owned up to also.  They are a perfect pair of unethical immoral putzes, and symbols of what is really wrong with our country that anyone would want to listen to anything either of them would ever say.

I believe in our country and I support our military always.  If you don't, that is fine but don't expect me to offer support or buy the products of a low life dirtbag like this fat, pasty faced Korean idiot, regardless of how much the media fools fawn all over him.  The media idiots who support him can join him as they have proven to be nothing more than unethical charlatans.

The media driven Bullshite regarding swearing in Middleboro, MA

It's time to clear the air about the whole issue of swearing in my hometown of Middleboro, MA.

1. The anti-swearing rule has been on the books in Middleboro since 1968.

Yes, read that again 1968

The statute was approved that year and was designed to make use of vulgar language similar to what they now call " hate speech" where police could summons someone to court for use of vulgar language in a manner that would be similar to verbal assault and battery.

2. The "new" aspect of this is the Chief of Police simply was trying to make a change so that his officers could issue a ticket for this type of issue instead of having to go through an arrest or summons.  The local ordinance would be still in effect with that one minor change.

3. The MEDIA have ginned this up into something it is NOT.  Like many issues, the MEDIA reported it wrong and the story has gone around the world and has attracted this low-rent activist to come to our fine village to put on a Media covered spectacle.

4. The citizens of Middleboro would like the reporters to work on producing stories about how our country is failing in education, falling behind on innovation, better ways to create good jobs for the citizens and leave stories like this where they belong, lining the bottom of a bird cage.

As a resident of Middleboro, I would like to tell the media types who will cover this huckster's demonstration that there are larger problems that need coverage and you should all focus your attention on our country's REAL problems ( The economy, unemployment, the Federal budget, failing politicians, lack of trust in ourleaders, etc. etc.) instead of the sideshow that will take place on Town Hall lawn today.

To the media idjits, I would ask how about you go back to being journalists for a change ??  It would be a much welcome change from the crappola I see passed off as news.

Town OK with activist’s cuss-fest demonstration
By Laurel J. Sweet  |   Monday, June 25, 2012
http://www.bostonherald.com  |

A tart-tongued activist hosting today’s “Free (Expletive) Speech Demonstration” at Middleboro Town Hall to protest the town’s $20 fine for cursing in public is inviting President Obama — in Boston today — to come on down, take up a bullhorn and join him in swearing up a blue streak ... for freedom!

“In fact, I invite all politicians who believe in freedom of speech to join us,” Adam Kokesh, a libertarian Internet talk show host, told the Herald in a phone interview from New Hampshire’s Porcupine 2012 Freedom Festival.

Town Moderator Wayne C. Perkins said TV trucks were parked outside town hall yesterday as interest in the swearing story persisted. He said Kokesh doesn’t need a permit so long as he and his supporters limit their outburst to dirty words and he has “no security concerns.”

“Let’s face it, people have a right to voice their opinion,” Perkins said. “If I see Secret Service here, then I’ll be concerned.”

Kokesh said the only exchange he plans to have with police is, “Have a nice (expletive) day.”

The “swear-in” is set for 12:30 to 1 p.m. — Kokesh said he wants to be foul-mouthed, but he doesn’t want to be disruptive — and he expects as many as 200 people to blaspheme about the 183-50 Middleboro Town Meeting vote earlier this month to establish a $20 fine for potty talk. The measure is under review for its constitutionality by the Attorney General’s Office.

“This is about standing up to a bully — maybe a bully in the form of 183 voters and a police department, but a bully nonetheless,” said Kokesh, 30, an Iraq war veteran and anti-war protester who stumped for Ron Paul’s campaign for president.

“I think it’s child abuse to tell your children that certain words have an emotional power that can cause sensitivity or hurt people’s feelings. Language is a tool. You can use it for good or bad. But a word should never be taboo,” said Kokesh, who was arrested in Washington, D.C., last year for taking part in a flash mob protesting the prohibition of dancing at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

Selectman Stephen McKinnon, who said he’s been approached about the ban by reporters from ABC News and the BBC, said he doesn’t have much time for the ban himself. “We have bigger problems in our town than worrying about cussing.”

CLUELESS NY TIMES STAFF might have to take pension downgrade...The horror.

Take a listen to the bucketheads at the NY TIMES whine about the possibility that they might have to take a reduction in pension benefits. The horror !!

Here's a bite of reality for you Mr. Media-Elite. Welcome to the new economy that the Democrats & dear leader Mr. Obama have given us...Share YOUR wealth Mr. Newspaper Elite !!. Here is what the rest of us have known for the past three years as we watched the DEMS spend us $5 TRILLION dollars further into debt.

Granted, the other side is not much better but they haven't figured out how to wreck things like Pelosi, Reed and Obama did in three years. These ingrates will get their pensions, just not a life-time of their full salary. That is reserved only for Municipal workers, State & Federal employees. The rest of us will have to get by on working in normal retirement age, add in what little social security is left and anything else we can do.

To work for a major newspaper and to act this clueless/entitled/elite is the sign of how badly the media does it's job. If they couldn't figure this crap out until now, how much other shite they write about is wrong also ?

Russel Mead lays it out in true Schadefreude...enjoy.

To quote John McClean from DIE HARD, " WELCOME TO THE PARTY PAL..."

At The NYT: Clueless Blue Deer Meets Onrushing Truck
Russell Mead - PJ Media

Schadenfreude alert: readers, and especially those who don’t much like the New York Times, should make sure they are not eating soup or holding hot liquids before viewing the video below. Uncontrollable gales of laughter stemming from excessive levels of schadenfreude may cause spilling and staining.

New York Times staffers, like suffering proles all over the world, belong to a labor union, and over the years the union has negotiated a very comfy defined benefit retirement plan. The staffers love the plan.

But economic reality is intruding. Times management, perhaps reading the coverage in its own pages about the companies and cities going bankrupt due to unsustainable union-bargained pension systems, wants to make a change. It wants to offer a defined contribution plan, instead. Workers and the company pay into a 401(k) plan, workers invest it, and when they retire, that is the amount they have towards their income.

It’s an entitled blue deer, meet onrushing truck kind of moment. The Guild is talking about a strike, and an array of Times staffers, including some famous bylines that are well known in news circles, worry aloud that the new plan could make them eat cat food and sleep in boxes on the street in old age. (Or late middle age, anyway; not one staffer talks about working past 65.)

Nobody in the video talks about the changes in the news business that threatens to drive the Times into a deep dive. Nobody talks about the prospect of future significant staff cuts if costs can’t be contained. None of them discuss the incongruity between their own naive sense of entitlement and what is going on in the cities, companies and countries they cover.

They just want the money.

Some writers allude to the prospect of leaving the paper if the pension change goes through, but a quick check of the newspaper business suggests they don’t have all that many options. Certainly with the exception of a handful of superstars the New York Times would have less trouble replacing its current staff than the current staff would have in replacing their jobs. And if those new jobs are in journalism, good luck finding a company with a generous defined benefit pension plan.

I sympathize with the Times staff about living in tougher economic conditions, but that is what people are adjusting to all over the world; I’m not sure what gives them an exemption. Newspaper reporters of all people should have seen this coming long ago, and have made savings and retirement plans on the assumption that their defined benefit plan would be going the way of the passenger pigeon and sooner rather than later.

If anything, their feelings of regret and chagrin should be tinged with at least a soupçon of relief. In the end, a defined benefit plan is only as solid as the company behind it, and given the turmoil on today’s media landscape it’s not at all clear where the Times will be or how it will be restructuring its debt 20 years from now. The good thing about a defined contribution plan is that you don’t lose the money if your ex-employer goes broke.

For readers, this is a fascinating and revealing glimpse inside the Times bubble. I am not sure which is more disconcerting; the deeply embedded sense of blue entitlement so palpably on display or the poor political judgement that led the union brass to think that releasing this video to the public would be good PR. Either way it serves as a powerful illustration of just how fundamentally out of touch many of the people working at America’s most famous newspaper have become.

I like and admire many of the people who write for the Times. Some of them I have known for years and, happily, the judgment and sensibility behind this video doesn’t characterize everyone who works there. But I suspect that most viewers around the world are going to find this video funny and revealing rather than heartfelt and convincing.

Presidential Politics goes to the Dogs

I am a true fan of our 4 legged friends.

Dogs are Man's Best Friend and anyone mistreating ( or eating) one is on my shite-list. The issue of DOGGATE is less about what MITT did or what BHO ate, but a total lack of journalistic integrity.

The hypocrisy of those in the media is on full display and continues with DOGGATE.

John Hayward asks, “Why didn’t the media know Obama ate dogs?” They did a mad dash to scour through Sarah Palin’s e-mails — after the 2008 election — and found nothing. But going to any bookstore and picking up Obama’s first autobiography was too much work for them. Why bother? They might’ve found something that would embarrass him.

Jim Treacher says, " (The Media) bought his memoirs so they’d look good on the shelf, but nobody wanted to actually read them. Besides, they were too busy going through Sarah Palin’s middle-school yearbooks."

The Daily Caller chips in, " When Romney puts a dog on a car roof, it’s a job for Diane Sawyer. When Obama eats one*, it’s a (less important) story. And isn’t it interesting that an incident from 1983 couldn’t be more current, but quoting one of Obama’s books is “dredging” it up? Guess it all depends on which party is embarrassed about it."

All I know is we need the economy fixed as that is our key issue in this election and has caused thousands of Dogs to be abandoned by those who have lost jobs and homes. That occurred on President Obama's watch and that is reason enough to want a different person in the White House.
We need a new President and one that doesn't have the media as his personal "lap dog".

Bruins Goalie Tim Thomas shows courage and takes a hit from the media

I was able to listen to the media outlets pile on Boston Bruins Goalie Tim Thomas yesterday for not attending the White House visit with the Bruins yesterday. The media were in full dump mode as I heard radio, print and TV reporters all say that what he did was wrong.

To the pundits and the media, I say you are wrong.

Tim Thomas was exercising his right to protest the issues that are wrong with Washington, DC and especially the light weight in the White House. " Protest is Patriotic " was the mantra we heard from the lefty looney libs for 8 years when President Bush was in the White House. The level of venom they directed against anyone and every one in power they didn't like was unbelievable.

Now, because the Bruins Goalie has issue with the way our Government is mis-managed, suddenly protesting is wrong? He should give up his moral and ethical indignation and make nice-nice with those who are driving our country into a ditch ?

I support Tim Thomas. If you feel that attending a White House Photo-op is something you don't want to do, then you are well within your rights not to attend.

If this was done when there was another President in place, I would feel the same as the day we condemn civil protest, we are on a slippery slope. Tim Thomas made a polite and mature protest. He didn't camp out on the White House lawn, or demand payment from the government. He declined an invititation. It is up each individual person to decide on whether to go, not the media.

Courage is taking a difficult stand when all around you are pressuring you to give in. Thanks Tim for making and taking the tough stand.

We stand with you.

The NH GOP Debate - Press largely ignores " SLICK MITT ROMNEY" mucking up an important question about AFGHANISTAN

The Media was culpable in giving President Obama a " free pass" last election cycle....He would make mistakes and said things that made him appear as an empty headed Dilettante (which he still is), and he was able to walk away from it as the media never highlighted it....

Well, here they go again -

If you read the News today, this is an example of the crap you'll see from last night's NH Republican Debate....

" Romney, the former Massachusetts governor who leads in the early polls and fundraising efforts, had a surprisingly easy two hours Monday night. He looked calm and steady, criticizing President Barack Obama on the economy and health care while rarely being forced on the defensive despite some well-known vulnerabilities of his own. " - NPR

Sounds nice....no issues....nothing here to see citizens...go about your business......

IN REALITY, this is what he said when he was asked by CNN Moderator John King about AFGHANISTAN, and what he would do:

" A retired Navy man with three sons serving asks the candidates if it is time to start withdrawing from Afghanistan. The question goes to Romney, who has publicly admitted that one of the reasons that he lost in 2008 was that the campaign swung on national security, not the economy.

This is his big chance. "It's time for us to bring our troops home as soon as we possibly can, consistent with the word that comes to our generals that we can hand the country over to the Taliban military in a way that they're able to defend themselves," Romney says. As he says
Taliban military, the camera cuts to someone in the audience in military dress who winces. Romney corrects his mistake, but the deed is done. To rub it in, Paul follows Romney by saying, "I wouldn't wait for my generals. I'm the commander in chief."

Romney, who is apparently still spinning from his Taliban flub, butts in to say that Obama is terrible in a number of ways. It's as if he is reading from a teleprompter. "We've had presidents in the past that had bad foreign policies. This is the first time we've had a president that doesn't have a foreign policy," he says. This feels a bit like a non sequitur, but at least Romney is back on message..." - TIME Magazine

WHISKEY - TANGO - FOXTROT ?? Romney said " ....we can hand the country over to the Taliban military in a way that they're able to defend themselves," - ARE YOU FOR REAL?

ROMNEY who wants to elevate himself to COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF and he doesn't understand that the TALIBAN are the enemy ?? What a dunce ! Like we need another President who hasn't got a clue about the military.

And to add to it , the MEDIA doesn't really report it as you have to dig through the reports to find this "flub"

Just what we need, the MEDIA propping up another "empty suit" who wants to be President OR they are supporting him because it all but ensures the present FOOL in the White House will get a second term.

It leaves an educated voter like myself disgusted and appalled. That the MEDIA can be so biased
and one sided means we will see another election cycle full of false stories and out-right lies. It is an indictment of the PRESS if they are going to act like this and ignore their responsibility to report the facts w/o bias.
