Greetings from stateside. 36 hours of travel and I made it home with the adventure of nearly getting stranded in Dubai. The good people of United were unable to get their plane to meet the scheduled flight on Saturday out of Dubai and I wound up on Emirates. I had to scramble but got the last open seat they had available at 02:00 a.m. This sent me to NYC instead of Dulles as I had scheduled. The staff at United there helped me out and wound up getting back to Boston Sunday afternoon safe and sound.
Going to take a bit of a break from usual blogging and will see what time off feels like.....more to follow from Vacation back home...hope to have interesting events to share.
